The church of Trans stands beautifully on the top of the hill that rises from the beach and sea and stands as a navigation mark of the area. “Havhuset” is a former property surrounded by government protected dunes. Here you will find space, peace and quiet and time for absorption. The nature can show itself from its best side, but also be rough and tough with the sea roaring – all this can be experienced from the windows of “Havhuset”.

Of the best beaches for bathing by the Northsea is situated by Fjaltring and has the Blue Flag – the international campaign which marks a good environment, clean water and good facilities.

Fishing…
There is plenty of opportunities for fishing from the stone barriers that stretches out in the sea about 200 meters from the house. It is possible to catch flatfish, codfish, mackerel, eel and more. – Besides that the fishing village of Thorsminde s not far away, and from here the boat “Æ MIndbo” departs, offering sea-fishing trips in the Northsea.

It is possible to play gulf on a course by Lemvig

Paragliding…
The cliffs from Trans to Bovbjerg are very suited for paragliding and are visited by paragliders from all over Denmark and from abroad.

Surfing…
Surfing is possible by Ferring Sø/ Ferring Lake , about 4 km. north of Havhuset.

Painting…
The house is well suited for groups with an interest in watercoulour- , oilpainting etc. as the light over the sea is very beautiful.
